Ruthless necromancer ascendancies do not help me solve any problems with my necromancer.

I progressed through the campaign with just the game knowledge I accrued over the years. I did not follow any particular guides or builds. I am playing a summoner, and used my passive points to solve problems I ran into while progressing. I am 73 and at t5 maps currently.

My complaint is the ascendancy nodes do not seem to solve any problems I am having with my build; and in general are not exciting as the power they do provide is minimal or situational and does not give me a meaningful sense of progression. I am sitting on my last 4/6 ascendancy nodes because nothing seems "right" and regrets are priceless in this league.

* Commander of darkness - The only node I did take because elemental resists are hard to come by and this helps my minions out too.

*Essence Glutton - As a MoM character, the mana recovery should be interesting but the number just feels too low. Maybe the ES recharge is worth using for some builds but ES is a dead stat for me Mon & the agnostic. I do have problems with mana regen but there are much better solutions available on the tree & I am working towards them instead.

*Mindless Aggression - By far the most interesting node but also the most disappointing. ES is a dead stat for me thanks to The Agnostic, but I very much like the idea of this node and wish I could take advantage of it without using a ES base helm.

*unnatural Strength - Really wish I could take this node but it requires me to take Mindless aggression which is going to do nothing for me for the most part. Very interesting but too expensive to justify.

*Bone Barrier - I want to like this but I really do not feel I need a guard skill, and having to take mindless aggression for it feels double bad.

*Pleaguebringer - Minion damage already feels okay, and the times where it doesn't feel good enough, a conditional 10% more damage isn't going to be the silver bullet that the build needs. Not interesting at all.

*Corpse pact - same issue with plaguebringer in that its not very interesting conditional damage, but also requires you to take plaguebringer.

*Mistress of sac. - Another very interesting node but not one I am able to make much use of so I chose to just sit on the points instead.

Just feels like my "most important" passive nodes are going towards things that do not currently help my character's progression through the atlas or anywhere else really.
