why cant we have simple league mechanics?

you know like ultimatum or ritual etc. you stand in a circle. you kill stuff and get loot. simple

this mechanic is already too complicated. why am i dying? its always ista death. all my resists are capped. i dont even know what to do to avoid death. and the rewards i lose are like 5 chromes or alch so this is not even worth the effort

do i really need to watch a 30 minute tutorial video by a streamer?

I miss so much ultimatum this league was so fun so rewarding but since then we get trash league that need 10+ map to do the mechanics i don't understand they know since 3.7 legion was a very good league but they keep giving us random complicated league mechanics with almost or nothing change in patch note its seems like they don't have any good Dev working on Poe 1 and prefer working a game more slowpaced that will not show in 2 more year...

I don't like this league, I tried it once and it was boring and unintuitive. In fact I miss the days of Breach, Essence, Abyss. It was simple, optional, rewarding and the bosses were fun and challenging but not impossible.
Maybe I'm simple minded but it was more fun overall, it's easy to quickly overwhelm the average players if there's too many things to learn and track. I just wanna hop in and smash some monsters not sit and learn how things work for 10 minutes, or have to watch a YouTube video, I feel like this breaks immersion. Just my opinion, thanks.
I like complex and mechanics-heavy leagues. Simple leagues tend to only be good for speed freak builds and no one else.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

because its a complex game made for gamers. i'm not saying they should never make another Ultimatum league or incursion or breach, but those are some of my least played leagues of all time. Because they were shallow and super ultra repetitive.

That said I know the december leagues going to be one of those classic "cater to the orb wage earning players with a different colored/shaped breach" because it will almost certainly have a new endgame configuration, and hopefully that will give me the depth I prefer while giving the go fast types something.

I really hate that the game is trying to serve two masters but I suppose its the status quo until at least late next year
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.

i watched a 30 minute video by ziggyd and i still dont get some of it...also you cant even tell whats killing you in there
