Question about Necromantic Aegis

Hi, I'm pretty new to PoE.
The question is, ALL bonus of shields go to the minions?
If I raise shields passives to increase block chances and so on, will my minion benefit from it?
There are better option to play Witch with minions than improving shield and Necromantic Aegis?

Thanks to everybody that should eventually answer.
Hello :)
1. Yes, all shield stats will count towards your minions when taking the passive.
2. No, those things only affect you (and would now be useless when using Necromantic Aegis) and will not transfer to your minions. Only nodes that specifically mention "minions" will actually help your minions.
3. Taking Necromanic Aegis really depends upon your gear and your build. If you find that you are able to survive perfectly fine without a shield and want your minions to be a bit tankier, then go for it. If you keep dying from lack of defense, I would really consider regretting out of the node.
Goat has it right, but I'd like to add that most people don't get Aegis. Keeping yourself alive is just a lot more important than keeping disposable minions alive.
I hoped that a wall of meat could tank and prevent damage on me, but playing I found enemies with Shadow Step, therefore I understand what you mean.
I'll go instead for a full necro build (those plusses on minions) and a tankish one, focused on incresed resistance, Chaos Attunement and armor shield.

OT:
I was even tempted to play tankish with a Marauder with Ancestral Bond, but from what I know (little and maybe also wrong) though I can reach a lot of elemental armor, armor, and life regeneration I would be still a lot vulnerable to Chaos Damage, and I'm scared of that one, haven't met it yet in the game.
Just stack life nodes and don't worry about chaos until you hit merciless.

Trying to go for chaos inoculation on your first character is a very bad idea. (Much more gear dependent, and easier to mess the build up)

Depends if your hardcore or softcore really. 4 lvl 76 flame sents or other good 75+ spectre are worth more than my own life. Its about the only way you can stop everything dying instantly to a champion lava golem pack.

Also there are two shield nodes on the passive tree you can still benefit from. on the far left there are two nodes with give you +15% all resists (each) for "holding" a shield. Even with aegis your still holding the shield, so still get the 30% resists.

Another way of thinking about it:

minion + minion life support < minion + necro aegis.

It can potentially free up a support gem position which for spectres means increasing DPS by 20-50% more, depending on the spectre.
