Sanctum Book missing?

I already did my first run, however, I dc'd cause of bad connection. The quest is also finished in the world map as well.

Im stuck at the same point. if you find out how to fix this please post it here. ill do the same thanks

Exactly the same happened to me. In fact it also ate my relic. Now i have no book, no relic, no quest offered by the NPC. Nothing.

I've been searching for someone else with the same problem and googling but to no avail. Until now with your post.

I was half thinking it was me misunderstanding the mechanic... but it seems not?

I and others are locked out of Sanctum because we got disconnected before finishing the first sanctum.

I have no book, my Relic Altar is empty.
The NPC has every option greyed out and no mission to accept or restart.
The Sanctum 'Start door' is also locked(the graphic with chains around it)

So i have no way to start a sanctum encounter.

The original poster has a photo showing the problem and mine is exactly the same. So i wont repost the same photo.

Why would not finishing the first Sanctum mean that you're "locked out"? It does suck that it sounds like there's no measures for forgiving disconnects in place.

But the way you're speaking sounds as if you'd complain that you're locked out of the Azurite Mine because you ran out of sulphite?

Did you read the original post at the top? That wasn't by me - but they have the same problem.

We have no book in our Relic Alter. I presume because we disconnected before the first mission was completed.

How do i start a Forbidden Sanctum now?

Do i have to wait for Forbidden Tomes to drop? because I have had no 'Forbidden Tomes' dropping yet either and im complete up to yellow maps almost...

Am i missing something here ?

Agreed that this is really confusing because the game doesn't tell us what to do if we fail the first run. I ran out of resolve on the last floor and then got no indication of what to do. I suspect the drop rate for Forbidden Tomes is just a lot lower than what we're expecting, which might be why we haven't found any yet.

So nothing on this? I'm in the same situation and it's frustrating

Yes you have to wait for a Forbidden Tome to drop.
