Impending Doom + Vixen's Entrapment BROKEN on 1st cast

I have the same problem, cannot get vixens to proc on the first cast. Is the bug still not fixed, or I'm doing something wrong?

I have the same problem.. with Pathfinder..didnt try the occultist yet.

I'm also having the same issues on my current character. Doom Blast will not proc on the first cast and my DPS seems extremely low. If anyone knows if I'm doing anything wrong please let me know.

Problem come from Vixen's always casting BEFORE your self-cast curse from chest, even if it get triggered by this one.

I tried even with a lvl 21 faster cvasting on my self-cast curse, so my enfeelbe had 140% cast speed, other curses (from vixens so) had 100% cast speed.

But still, Vixens was casting curses before my enfeeble.

If you pay attention on the ground when you cast curses, you'll see a first big circle, it's the curses from vixens, then another curse animation coming from you before it reach the same area as other curse, it's your curse from your chest.

It means Vixens curses hit monsters BEFORE your main setup, so no Blast, because it goes like this

(if enfeeble is in chest for exemple)
Cast enfeeble-> trigger vixens, which cast faster -> punishment, despair, temporal chain hit the mob, -> enfeebmle hit the mob

So enfeeble overlap curse from vixens = no Doom (and it goes like this every 2 casts)

It should be the other way around

Enfeeble hit first -> punishement, despair, temporal chain hit the monster

so vixens curses overlap Enfeeble = we got doom on first cast and then on every cast

Vixens shouldnt trigger curse before your self-cast. Looks like Vixens has priority over your other setups (I tried to put main setup on weapon, still same result)

Spell Cascade just "hide" the problem because it makes curses overlap anyway on the center of the 3 cascades, but the 2 other cascade, at the extremities doesnt have any overlap.

Just try without spell cascade, pay attention to the curse on ground, on the curse actives on mobs, and you'll see this is correct ^^

For me this is where the problem come from.

What is meant with the first cast? So if i cast it more often it will work?

I switched back to Cursed Ground, but if i swap Cursed Ground with Added Chaos Damage, it wont trigger.

Is this the same Problem?

Correct, this seems to be intended behavior, and was so even before recent patches. Attention was drawn to this now because GGG fixed spell cascade aoe (spread) for hexes in 3.22, thus removing natural overlap and making problem apparent. Not sure if it is even possible to "fix" by adjusting your cast speed.

Tried to make a PF ID today, doesn't proc on first cast.
Seems that vixen's curses cast before the chest curse.
Which doesn't blow up the curses.

Kinda bummed, spent a whole day leveling for nothing.

This is very wierd behaviour.

On my Inquisitor Impending Doom + Vixen will trigger on first cast without a problem.

On my Pathfinder Impending Doom + Vixen refuses to trigger on first cast unless I socket cursed ground.

Looks like to this day, the bug is still happening

If you put cursed ground support in your 6 link that makes it work again.
