Comparison between Aggresive or Defensive Righteous Fire Build

guys! I'm just an intermediate player in this game. Since the new league is coming up soon, I have done some research about the build that I want to start in the next league, which is the Righteous Fire build.

Thanks to Phox for giving a lot of explanation about RF, and I would like to thank him if he was able to see it. However, I have found that Phox's build is more like a defensive build than that of Jugg or Inq. I have found a rf biulder on poe.ninja that using almost the same item with that phox recommended and the only diff is just fire trap and rf has swap btween 4L and 6L.

Not only that, Phox's tree is more defensive, and the guy's tree is more offensive (I'll provide both pobs below). However, the damage states for two players are totally different; although Phox's RF has 6L, the total dot is 1.1m ++, and the guy has 8.7m , which is huge from just diff trees and gem distribution. But as payback, Phox's build has more survivability, but the guy's defense stat is also not bad either.

Guys, I would like to get your advice about these two builds that whether phox's build is too tanky and its ok to take more offensive notes in tree instead of defensive, or the 8m guy's build is still totally fine for survibility. On one hand, having more damage does mean you can get away with lower defenses.

On the other hand, the "other guy's" pob you linked gets a lot more out of flasks due to Mageblood letting them run 95% increased effect on every flask with no penalty. Needing almost no elemental resistances on gear due to +146% elemental resistances from flasks opens up your gear's suffixes for other modifiers.
