There has been a patch you need to update to.

What i can see on steam is the PLAY button, it down show it need to patch, there is the issue that i can see.
When i press play, it patches and then start game and - the game tell me i need to patch. In a loop.
Normally already on steam i can see it need patching - the play button is not there then, instead it tells i need to patch.

Not sure this is a steam problem, something in the communication ther is lacking. :P

just keeps going through the verifying and the finishes and says ready to play ... then the client says i need to dl a patch

ive tried updating steam , restarting comp... same stuff every time

There is nothing we can do, it's a patching issues.

I would like to know how big of a deal it is, if we know we will stay stuck 1h, i will just dl the game from somewhere else

Dang, this kind of sucks... Standard has a stupid short window of time when trade is super active. I want to sell stuff :(

Issue still persisting.

Now my game on steam goes on validating loop everytime I opened the game. At login screen, its says there is a patch i need to download and the validation starts again.

Sigh.
