There has been a patch you need to update to.

I cannot log in to the game. Anytime I try to launch the game Steam begins a download and when finished launches the game but an error pops up saying "There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path of exile". I tried restarting steam, also restarting my PC and running steam as admin. It just keeps doing the download and error every time.

I get the same error on steam, even tho it apparently went through the download/update on steam.

I am having this exact same issue. I am also using steam and am also downloading the patch when I press play in steam, and when it finishes I get to the login screen and when I press login I get the same message - "There has been a patch you need to update to. Please restart Path of exle"
I have additionally uninstalled and reinstalled in steam and it did the same thing. |
