Poisonous Concoction Life Flask Consumption

Are there any reason for the skill to always consume life flask when possible? I really wish to use a life flask and still play Pconc

It does a lot more damage when it consumes life flasks. If you arent building into passive life flask sustain the gem is not really worth it to use.
