PoE2 Currency Feedback
Nearly everything I saw about PoE2 I really liked. The improved combat, new skill system, more distinct weapon types, etc.
The removal of certain currencies, in my mind, means that the rarity and tier of some of them would have to be adjusted. From what we have seen so far in PoE2 the removal of alterations and scouring orbs would mean that little crafting can actually be done with Magic items. This would mean that the cost of upgrading a magic item to rare must be a lot cheaper. I would swap the tiers of Alchemy orbs and Regals and also make them far more common. The rarity tiers, imo should be Transmute > Regal > Alchemy > Chaos. The overall value should be (Transmute + Augmentation + Regal) = Alchemy. The value change means that a player can choose to Transmute an item for fewer, but perhaps more valuable mods or Alch for more, but random mods. I would still like to see more options to craft with magic items, but I see why they made these changes. These changes would mean that a player would pick up more normal items to transmute / alch, but hopefully we wont see problems with inventory space because of this.
