Invalid vector subscript error

Ever since latest patch I'm getting "Invalid vector subscript" error on starting the game. Doesn't matter if I run "Client.exe", "PathOfExile.exe", or "PathOfExile_x64.exe".

I ran "PackCheck.exe" and it let me launch the game once successfully and then it hard crashed to desktop after a couple maps and then I started to receive the same error.

Then I ran DDU and re-installed my display drivers (tested 23.7.1 and 23.7.2) which again let me run the game one time. And then trying to launch the game again after a reboot leads to the same error.

*EDIT NOT FIXED*

I looked at the client.txt log and saw the Exception Invalid Vector Subscript was triggered right after it called my audio adapter (cable vmod using banana meter).


Firing up Banana Meter I was alerted by an error telling me bad drivers were detected.
Uninstalling cable plugin and banana meter (and restart) fixed it.

Upon closing and re-opening I'm getting the same error STILL.

You aren't alone. I have this message popping up too. I did find an old POE Tech support post from 2018 discussing this same issue. I will include the link: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2164106

The error does appear to be driver based, but that's all I was able to figure out. Sorry that I don't have better news then that.
