PoE1 vs PoE2 Split (Challenge Rewards)

I haven't seen many people mention this but my main concern about the news of the games being separate is the idea of juggling both games and trying to get all the league challenge rewards in both.

It already requires a decent time-investment to get 38/40 or 40/40 in ONE game and they are already incentivizing playing both by virtue of having a linked MTX stash and staggered releases so my only hope is that they make the challenges doable without having to play either game every day of the year.

Personally, I found it a pleasure to have a month off in-between leagues to decompress and get excited for the new league, and as a bonus, it really helped with preventing burnout. Not having that buffer period will force a lot of people to make some hard decisions or just become tired of the game in general.

If the rewards are the same between games or the challenges for one or the other become easier after the launch of PoE2 then this suggestion wouldn't really be relevant.

it also means that if there is a league you don't like you can take a short break and try the next one without having to wait the full 3 months.
