I think its a bit unfair to say they made it for the d4 crowd but I don't think you guys realise how much it would smother design to have to tie PoE2 to PoE1, to me the mistake was ever suggesting it would be connected.
I'll put it like this if they made PoE2 work seamlessly with PoE1 they may as well have not even bothered making it as such, they could iterate all the improvements over time and we'd probably already have a significant number of them (you may prefer this as a player tbh) At least we can use our MTX for both and in a way i like the idea of their double league cycles - I will say that I think the current one is a strength though and they might end up with too many. |

One button spam killing the whole screen while you watch netflix? LOL - I agree that standard has gotten the short end of the stick over the years - from items nerfed to atlas resets and map tabs bugged to the divine/exalt change and now this, but this isn't as bad as ppl are saying. They're still supporting PoE1, you can still play your characters, and what are they obligated to do? Keep PoE1 going for 500 years so you can pass it down the generations in your family? Again I want to say I feel bad for std players b/c GGG have done a lot of things to that environment that I wouldn't do but I think you all do need to face the fact that in a live service game standard as you know it and want it isn't going to exist unchanged forever. |
