Guys if you look on the right bottom of the screen you will see that the client is still in the 3.21.2b (don't remember the exact number) that means that steam is not downloading the new client. In the meantime I'm downloading the game from the GGG installer

It was working, but then I tried reinstalling my old files and it's no longer working again. I have since tried deleting the files from AppData, the C drive, and my documents and it's still not working.

Finally got it to work again. Some combination of deleting files in 3 different locations, turning off all security systems I could find, and restarting my computer fixed it. Hope I won't need to do this again in 3 days when 3.22 comes out though...
