Steam Login Error after lat patch on macOS
|
After updating the game it launches but when trying to login I get the message "Login Error - There has been a patch that you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile."
On every single launch Steam validates the files, but still see the error every time. I've tried deleting the game from Steam and downloading again. MacBook Air (M1, 16 GB, macOS Ventura 13.0.1) Last bumped on Jul 25, 2023, 4:27:39 PM

Same problem, always claims wrong version, always downloads something on next startup in steam, repair/a dozen tries didn't help.

Same thing for me.
Steam always seems to download something on launch, "There has been a patch that you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile." when trying to login in game. But the game display the correct version (3.21.2) on the main screeen. Checkign files, uninstall & reinstall doesn't solves the issue. |

Same issue. Steam seems to say "validating" on launch. When attempting to login it says there is a patch and I need to restart the game to update.

same problem here ....

The game was working fine just after the 6GB update, but the problem appeared a few hours later when there was apparently another patch to download, and since then Steam is always verifying the integrity of game files before launching it, then it fails at login
