Most of the ISP has dynamic IP now. This is why literally no site tracks ip anymore and changed to credential tokens. I mean they still track but not going to force you to authenticate every time you log in. Perhaps add a login to the launcher.

yes support can turn it off for you. mine is turned off since 2016 and i'm still here playing. nobody hacked my account. and lets be real if someone wanted to then they could hack the email as well,so the whole thing is kinda pointless. just super annoying to constantly get sent the unlock code.

Absolutely no change should occur on this. Account security is 100% at risk if they don't keep it exactly the way it is.
They use IP to help people recover their accounts and keep people from stealing your account. Ⓥ
