Gain rage for swords/axes mastery seems to be bugged

Was playing my Lacerate Slayer (Crucible SSF) some and had the Gain Rage sword/axe mastery. Using a Despot Axe. Just happened to notice I am not gaining rage at all. Swapped over to Heavy Strike to test, same problem. Thought it might be linked to my Vaal Pact so tried unspeccing that. Still doesn't work. I do not have the glove implicit or any other source of rage. Tests done in Blood Aqueducts.

I will be speccing out of the mastery since it doesn't do anything right now (so if you look at my character and are wondering why I don't have that mastery, that's why).

Update: So it actually does work. What doesn't work is the rage bar on the interface.

I tested again in BA but this time with my character sheet open and I can see my dps climb as I kill mobs.

Update 2: Exiting and restarting the game a few times seems to have fixed the issue.
