Marooned Marine bug.

Hello, my friend and I had a bug when we were doing the quest "The Marooned Mariner" as a group. I gave the allflame to the npc and killed him, the quest was completed for me, but not for my friend. As a result, the NPC is dead, the friend has a task and there is an item in the inventory from which he cannot get rid of. Can something be done about this?

Ctrl+Click the entrance of area to reset instance.
