I really dislike Alva content
I like alva. I like temple of atzoatl. I do not like doing incursions.
The loot from after the incursions should be shifted to the monsters, and if necessary, be moved to the outside if unpicked. *smiling pepe thumbs up emote* Last bumped on Jul 13, 2023, 9:57:32 PM

incursions have been nerfed so badly. a lot of times almost nothing drops when i come out from an incursion. (yes i clear the whole thing)

"Isn't that exactly how it already works? The loot is from the monsters, it just drops outside the incursion at the end? |

I really dislike it too.

I really like Alva currently, although it's relative value is, like almost everything else, directly related to how much you invest into it.
I'm currently in all but one of the Alva clusters on the passive tree, and I've had either the T3 corruption room or the T3 gem room in every single one of my Modern Day Temples, and both in 3 of the last 10. Even if you aren't trying to min-max your build, those chronicles sell very quickly for an extra 100 or 200c every 3 maps and have done as much for the last few leagues. Also, Incursions synergize extremely well with Delirium so if you are doing a lot of that bolstering it with Alva is a no- brainer. |

" The real loot has always been the temple itself. Now that you can itemize them, it's easier to just make temples with the good rooms (ex. T3 sacrifice, gem, corruption) and sell for a big wad of currency. It's much easier to do consistently if you invested in the atlas passives. My boyfriend does this strategy with some level of success. Incursions are better for bolstering Delirium, but you might get something out of it if you're one of those high-investment mapping players who spent over a hundred chaos per map. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

The only thing I don't like about Alva content is stupid timers on the Incursions. Once more with PoE "We want to slow the game down - here's another timer". So you either play a fast build or you just can't engage with the content.

I don't do it. It's badly explained why and what I do when time travelling and I don't see the point.
Could be that I need to learn more about it or so, of course, but I have no idea what does what. Same for betrayal, btw, which is absolutely obscure to me. |

" Alva's pyramid used to be where you had to go to get a couple of benchcrafts, and GGG moved them to maps, which reduced even further the incentive to interact with the mechanic. Betrayal, on the other hand, is the main source of Veiled enchantments, which is the main reason I do anything with it. ='[.]'= =^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/ whiskers =@[.]@= boggled / =>[.]<= annoyed or angry / ='[.]'= concerned / =0[.]o= confuzzled / =-[.]-= sad or sleepy / =*[.]*= dazzled / =^[.]~= wink / =~[.]^= naughty wink / =9[.]9= rolleyes #FourYearLie Last edited by Raycheetah#7060 on Jul 12, 2023, 8:40:45 PM

" I would really like to try Betrayal, but all I see there is a big board with bandits and threads between them, as well as some percentage for "whatever". |
