~ Reserved mana/life interaction with stun?

Hi! thanks for clicking.
If you know, could you tell me the interaction of stun threshold with reserved life? It's reduced with life reserved? thanks !

Reserving life will not lower your stun threshold.

From stun wiki:

"The chance to stun is based on the damage done in a single hit compared to the target's maximum life."

Maximum life is life before reservation.

You can check this if you have a pob on the calcs tab under stun duration heading. If you toggle your reservation on and off it doesn't change. Can see the stun threshold is being calculated off your max life.

The "chance to avoid stun" never changes. Tough. Is like the numbers are frozen in place. What made me doubt the data from there.
Also found in wiki the wording "effective max life". Efective max life, made me wonder if was about unreserved life.

"
Where defender's effective max life in equation 2 is what the maximum life of the creature would be in a single-player map. Increases to monster life from a party of more than one player do not affect effective max life

Then i came here, check with people that did low life builds before.
I actually wanted to check if Skyforth boots (they convert stun threesold to max mana) could be used to trigger bloodnotch instead of the ES mastery if all mana was reserved. Would be nice if could x.x
Have you done builds with reserved life before? ~ Just checking I mean, before gaving up the build idea~

I agree that the wording could be improved, other sources like POB uses different wording as well, it could be much clearer.

I do play low life builds sometimes. I was playing a lowlife boneshater jug this league which ended up changing to a normal boneshatter build. Hybrid is where stun mitigation is more important because of the low max life. I have a prism gaurdian low life COC occultist that i'm trying to build, doubt it will function without stun immunity so I will need Chayula amulet if I don't take the stun ascendancy. Skyforth might also be an option for me if I find one.

I don't think it will work by reserving the mana, but perhaps it is still possible by having a very small mana pool. I haven't played a bloodnotch build before so don't know how low the threshold needs to get for it to proc reliably.
There may be some items that reduce max mana, cant think of any off the top of my head other than kalandra league rings, but with a 5x multiplier, you probably need something like under 50max mana, might not be possible.

Bloodnotch is being used in a lot of builds, perhaps one of the devouring totem players will know how high their e/s can get before it stops being useful.
Have you tried testing with blood magic? The wording on BM is different to the agnostic, but according to this post it does set your mana to 0 and should work.
