Need advice for a new monitor 21:9

I'm planning to get a new monitor with 3440x1440 resolution. I've heard a lot of negativity about black bars on the sides of the screen.
Can someone confirm is this issue still stands or is it fixed, how it is right now and what is planned for PoE 2. Last bumped on Jun 16, 2023, 6:40:29 AM

So long as your aspect ratio is 21:9 you should not see black bars anywhere. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

There is no real 21:9 monitor on the market!
The most common resolution 3440x1440 is 21.5:9 ratio that is called "21:9". This is why it has been reported about tiny black bars for about 50 pixels.
