please let me skip something i find repetitious and boring so i can do something even more repetitious and boring, that's the argument you are making, i.e a stupid one

The way you are talking us down isn't helpful for trying out new characters and passive skills.
Neither does it give me the impression, that i can voice my opinion on equal terms. Not to mention there is absolutely no reason for a feedback and suggestions forum to exist under these circumstances. And no you don't have to be dying. The story with its low lvl maps is still available with all its waypoints. If this is how you want to view things. If you insist. I like playing through the story too, but i'm on my 6th or 7th character this league and none of them made me happy, so at this point..yeah. There is nothing wrong with having the option available under the condition, that you have done the story before. Who put you in charge anyway to evaluate what people want in the game ? Who put you in charge for saying how people are supposed to spend their free time ? It's already ridiculous, that we are playing videogames as adults, but being called casual for that is too much. |

If you're referring to me, I'm not sure why you are seeing this as talking anyone down. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being casual or that it makes you any less of a player.
There are plenty of valid reasons for folks who have played the endgame before to want to skip the campaign. In OP's specific case though, his achievements make it clear he's never gotten much further than the campaign and fairly likely only got as far as white maps or so. The campaign is much easier than maps which is significantly easier than the endgame. If he is only able to barely get past the campaign, he will not enjoy starting from maps because he will get destroyed constantly, which will simply lead to him quitting the game in rage. This is a fact. Wanting to skip the campaign to get to the endgame faster is a legit reason to want it and lots of people want this. I'm not against anyone having that. OP has not yet built the knowledge to make use of that. Skipping the campaign for him (which is varied areas) will simply lead to him running potentially the same couple of white maps over and over. I'm simply pointing out this will get old way faster than running the campaign. Take you for example: You've beaten the Shaper, the Eater, the Exarch, and Sirus (I don't know if you bought carries for any of that but even if you did, you at least experienced those parts). You may be more casual than some but you've gotten to a lot of endgame and would benefit from a campaign skip to get to that content. OP hasn't even fought the Shaper yet. He has literally just completed the campaign and not much more. My view was specifically for his situation. |

" totally, if playing the campaign is "enduring", then there is something wrong ... but not with the game. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" not really. its the mindless repetition. at least with end game you can customize what you do. apart from running maps there are other things you can do to switch things up a bit, like delve, heist, blighted maps, simulacrums etc with the campaign its always the exact same thing. 10 acts is too long to begin with but when you have to do it 500 times it gets to the point where you do have to "endure" it Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Jun 18, 2023, 10:59:47 PM

Yes please. This is really needed in the game. It's a chore playing the story all over again every time.
