Blade Trap Mechanics

Hi! Does Blade Trap count as "you hit" ?

I have a spell saying " gain X life for each enemy you hit"

I am asking this cause Blade Trap seems to use my weapon to hit so i'm asking if maybe it's different from other traps, i know usually trap do not count as "you hit" cause it"s the trap doing the hit.

no its a proxy, the trap uses your stats but it counts as itself so the entity that gains life from hitting enemies is the trap.
