+1 to this, but someone would get mad re: Hardcore Item Muling because for some reason we have to pretend to care about what happens in standard league.
^or...is it really that hard to create a ssf side-by-side league that has higher rates? Trade league has its own drop and crafting rates, ssf has everything the same, but with higher rates. Tradeoff being SSF never drops into trade league whether its standard or not.

Let ruthless be the challenge league: ssf can be "single-player mode".

And to pre-empt the common argument: if this idea would severely divide the playerbase...perhaps there's a reason that is even something to be afraid of...
