Bug fullscreen

Hello exiles!
Do not tell me how to solve this problem, it is still relevant and I want a normal solution and not temporary crutches, and judging by similar topics from developers there is no point waiting for an answer or worth it.....
as an example

well first problem is the use of Onedrive on system folder since that will block PoE to work properly. So that's not a GGG issue.

The 1080P "issue" he talks about I don't understand. I am running 1080P and don't have any issue.

However GGG doesn't offer TECH support "for the moment" (been like this for several years now).

So that's it Exile.
When you set 1080 in the configuration file and check the read-only box, the game runs in full-screen mode without any problems, but if you collapse the game and expand it, the resolution of the game gets lost.
The scaling issue is not the problem. It's the UI gone a bit zonky.

You're using nVidia's 1050Ti, so:
-make sure 'Threaded Optimization' is disabled in the GPU driver (because nVidia's GPU driver isn't great with PoE's 'Engine Multi-threading' at all)
-Vsync is enabled in-game
-Windowed Mode is enabled (for 1080P it should be 1600x983 so it looks 'ok')

And nVidia's 1050Ti boost clock is slightly crazy; use MSI's Afterburner and set the core clock to -300mhz (do nothing else in there unless you know what you're doing (make sure the -300 is not +300 for instance before setting it).
I've seen a 1050Ti boost clock to 1.7Ghz (for a core clock of 1.3Ghz) for no reason that makes any sense; it's largely a 'PCIe 75w nVidia went-to-town-and-didn't-care' sort of thing.

What else.
I'd set the Dynamic Resolution in-game and the Target Frame Rate to your monitor hz.

GGG need to sort the engine's default characteristics for those that don't have modern systems and water 'circulating in the box', so to speak.
I don't think they'd re-write the engine code.

If you've not got a modern system, it's a no-go.

Go windowed mode (1600x983), dx12, multi-threading, dynamic resolution; make sure the target frame rate is the same as your monitor's refresh otherwise it won't work right (so make sure the GPU driver's display - NOT the profile for the game - is the same - it's easy to get the two mixed up).

Disable Threaded Optimization in the GPU driver (that's what's f* up the in-game multi-threading in Windows 10 and older CPUs/chipsets).

If there's still slight 'cpu spiking', that's because the renderer needs to be reset, and the easiest way to do that is to switch in-game to vulkan and then back to dx12...

And it'll work.

No matter what's on the screen, it won't affect it.
Promise.

There's also another thing you can do that gets even better performance if you're on an older CPU (must be a 4-core at minimum).

When Path of Exile is running (and you're in windowed mode of course) and the mouse cursor will therefore go outside that window (because you checked off the confine mouse to window to do this); do this:

Task Manager
Details (it's 5th one from the Processes tab)
Right click 'PathofExile.exe'

Set Priority to Above Normal <<< Leave it on Normal (it can cause brief freezing for a few seconds, but not a crash; there is a way to negate it, but you need to use Powershell and disable the 'Gamebar'... that is, if you need it.

Set Processor Affinity so that CPU1 and CPU3 are unticked and CPU0 and CPU2 are ticked (as they normally would).

Since it's a windowed mode solution to PoE's multi-threading engine and dx12 and windows 10 and older systems, doing this each time you run the game shouldn't be a 'work to do' situation.

If all this works (and it will) no matter what the game engine is doing... well, you should be surprised.
I couldn't get it to drop a frame with a dancing dervish champion exploding the entire screen at 1000 kills.

If you're 1600x983 you can get 1902x983 if you set the renderer to Vulkan (then Fullscreen mode the Vulkan renderer); let it restart (it should do that). Start the game again, set it to Dx12 and Windowed mode and it should set it to 1902x983.

It's buggy.
There's nothing in the GPU driver that is doing it or my display affecting the aspect ratio (or the GPU affecting the aspect ratio).

But this will work.
It should also 'anchor' the window to the top of the screen (but not the bottom).
Which is good.
why do I need all this if I just want to play in full-screen mode (1920 x 1080) :D

You can't do it even with a nVidia 4090-
so do what I showed you and you'll get no problem of any kind.
