Confirmed PoE 2 Ascendancy Classes

Arguably the biggest addition to Path of Exile with the launch of Path of Exile 2 will be the introduction of 19 brand new ascendancy classes to the game. One of the pillars of this beloved action RPG's character build design, ascendancy classes in PoE 1 sought to drastically alter characters with powerful passive benefits. However, with PoE 2, Grinding Gear Games is prepared to make some radical expansions in the ascendancy tree realm of Path of Exile.

This is what we know so far, peppered with a bit of speculation on what else to expect with Path of Exile 2's ascendancy classes.
