Skeleton Critical Strike chance?

Is there a critical strike chance / critical strike multiplier with skeletons? I ask because the skeletons do not appear to be effected by either of the critical support gems (critical damage/strike support). I am using Dead Reckoning and consequently skeleton mages.

Those gems should work. Why do you think they don't?

They work just fine when linked to your Raise Skeletons gem.

If they work, then shouldn't "Critical Strike Chance" and "Critical Strike Multiplier" show up in the Offence stats for the summoned skeletons (like it does with everything else? Hence, my question and confusion... You say they have an effect, but I don't see that effect listed anywhere in the character offence stats...

If you can share with me where I can find those stats in my build, I would appreciate it...

The way to check minion stats is importing your char into Path of Building. The in-game tooltips are not reliable for pretty much anything regarding minions except for life and duration. They're not reliable for much in general really, even non-minion skills. But they're exceptionally bad for minions.

So I pulled my build into Path of Building.

With a level 20/23% quality "Increased Critical Strikes Support" gem linked, and a level 20/23% quality "Increased Critical Damage Support" linked, I get the following:

Crit Chance: 6.5%
Crit Multiplier: 324%


Is this correct? With those levels of gems linked I only have a 6.5% chance to crit with skeletons? The crit multiplier seems correct, but crit chance seems light... is that correct?

You need to look at the Calcs window with Vaal Summon Skeletons selected there and "Show Minion Stats" ticked on. The sidebar doesn't break down these kinds of stats for minions there.

Your skeletons have 16.79% crit chance and 179% total increased crit multiplier (Minions get 30% base increased crit multi as opposed to the 50% players get, and they're getting 149% from the crit multi support gem).
