Asphyxia's Wrath and DPS loss

I am playing a Champion Lightning Arrow, and the unique item Asphyxia's Wrath quiver dropped. It looked pretty solid to me. Cold resist, extra attack speed and projectile speed, and also gain 20% of phys damage as extra cold damage. Sounds like a 20% more modifier to me.

However, when I look at this is PoB, I actually GAIN DPS by removing the quiver, and using nothing. WTF? Is PoB wrong, or if not, how can this thing suck so much when it looks so good?

I've got the node that means projectile speed turns to increased damage, which is partly why this quiver looked good to me. But clearly there is something I don't quite grasp, or PoB is messing it up.

Im assuming the other quiver hat some sort of accuracy.

Because right now you sitting at 3750 Acc total vs 3762 HP, which means Precise Technique no longer works for you since you got more HP than Acc, causing you to miss out on a 40% more dmg multiplier.

I didn't put on another quiver. I just removed the current one. Well, in PoB that is. In-game I'm getting more DPS from Asphyxia's Wrath compared with a few others I have stored away, so this is a bit confusing.

Sadly Precise Technique just got borked due to a smidgeon higher life, so that sucks, but don't think that impacts stuff here. Think it was the last level-up that did it, despite not picking any strength or such. Just the natural increase was enough to tip it over.

Thats because PoB replaces Snipers Mark with Frostbite in your Calcs tab when you equip this quiver. This is why you do lose dps in PoB.
