Ceinture of Benevolence and "Gains no charges duringe effect"
If one player links to a player with "Gains no charges during flask effect" enchant on their flasks (the link recieving player) their flasks in the same slots as the link giver (wearer of Ceinture of benevolence) will never get charges, even though its NOT the flasks that are currently being in effect.
This is easy to replicate. Get 2 players. Player 1 has ceinture of benevolence. Player 2 has a flask with "Gains no charges during flask effect" enchant. Player 1 links to player 2. Player 1 uses flask in the same "slot" as player 2. Player 2 gets no flask charges for said flask. Posted the following in another thread but worth consolidating here..
The TL:DR = When a link skill uses Ceinture of Benevolence and links with their target, any flask of the linkee (target) are considered activated when the linker's flasks in the same slot are activated. Bad news for: Wardloop Aurabots Any flask user who enchants with "Reused at the end of this flask's effect" (this never triggers for the target of the link; if the link caster activates a flask in the same slot during this trigger timer, it is restarted) It would appear that the code used for this belt considers the flask effect of the link caster to be "IN" the corresponding belt slot of the target. I inadvertently killed several aurabots who were using coruscating elixir before figuring this out with my duo. The "Reused at the end of this flask's effect" enchant/craft on flasks appears to simply apply a reuse timer equivalent to the flask's duration. Combine this with the game thinking MY flasks are in my target's belt, slot 2 will never reach the end of the effect, every time my slot 2 flask is used the "Reused at the end of this flask's effect" countdown is restarted from 0. This belt has AMAZING potential for support/party play, I would really appreciate it if your team could look at the code and work out a way to apply the flask effect through the link/belt as a BUFF not originating from flask slot # to prevent interference with the flasks of the target. It is getting pretty vile out there in public mapping, had someone come into my own hosted group last night and tell me "don't f#@$ing link to me". Cheers for the link skill love! |
