random drop chance--algorithm (time?) (difficulty rating?)

Regarding the title, I am referring to to actual algorithm to item drop chance: such as, mirrors.
I would add a timer between enemies killed vs time of map cleared. Is time in the algorithm? If not, why not? If mirrors are meant to be impossible for item drops based on chance to drop, drop pool, difficulty, and time. Then let it be so! Last bumped on May 9, 2023, 1:22:31 AM
