Is there anywhere to appeal TFT ban?
" So I've snipped this down to the two points I'll respond do; To the first part, this is stupid. Utterly insipid. I'll go to bat for a ton of stuff GGG does, I like the game, and generally speaking, agree with their direction for the game, and have enjoyed basically every league for what it was (though yes I have some critisims of them, the games a bit too bloated, it's onboarding for new players is awful, and its MTX is WAY overpriced, not counting supporter packs, etc). But to say someone shouldn't question a companies motives or ends is fully insane and a great way to see that company die. Because once a company stops getting feed back is when it starts shooting into the abstract, and people just quietly leave to something else. It makes worse games (and worse everything), though at the same time, companies cannot take every comment or question as the word of god, its a balance to walk. Second, you bring up Diablo 3 as a counter point due to its BoA items, which is IMMENSELY disengeinous because that game STARTED with Real Money Trading AS PART OF THE DEFAULT GAME. I made 500$ bucks off that game, and still think it was the worst idea I've ever seen launched into an ARPG. And why did this change? Because people complained HARD about it, so hard they fully gutted it, made all items BoA and dramatically upped the suppressed drop rates that encouraged the Auction House (becuase they got a transaction cut). |

" Poor choice of words, Actually that is what I wanted to say. We shouldn't criticize what GGG does as in the end we should enjoy the game as the developers see fit to be played. Of course people should voice their opinion and let them know feedback. Doesn't mean they should do it, even though I would like them to do most of them. So yea to everyone commenting to what I said it was just poor choice of words. " D3 real money AH was not the issue...people were the issue for which it had such a negative impact. I brought up D3 because it was the only game that could compete at that time...it didn't , we can still place it in comparison with other games. Even so we deflected from the starting thread. People were not happy with D3 because it was an AH simulator. The best way to obtain gear was by playing the AH rather than the game itself. It's the same with PoE, where the best way to progress is to profit from trading. Botters and RMTers have an easy life, while people actually playing the game are miserable.

" There is a lot of truth in this. The amount of money you can make playing the actual game pales in comparison to playing the Trade Site. If you know what to look for and follow FoTM classes, you make so much more money. I would expand on that as stating "the best way to make money is to not play at all". All the best means of earning money requires you to never actually play the game. Last edited by Nulledout on May 22, 2023, 2:57:53 PM
