Immutable Force question
I see a lot of cyclone builds using Immutable Force, but its really really expensive.
My question is: what's the point of the jewel? Even with a perfect 1000% roll, you wouldn't be immune to stuns so your cyclone would still be interrupted, right? Or is it effectively stun immunity at some point? And if its the latter, what % do you need for effective/comfortable stun immunity? Last bumped on May 5, 2023, 6:01:33 AM

I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) that if a stun's duration is less than a server tick (33ms exactly), it gets discarded. Assuming the attacker has no reduced stun threshold, the defender needs at least 961% stun recovery to reduce the default stun duration of 350ms to below 33ms.
Even if it doesn't get discarded below 1 tick, most people say it isn't noticeable. The reason Immutable Force is so expensive is because of its use with Bloodnotch and a couple other things, which grant effective immortality to everything except getting oneshot (okay and DoTs). |

gotcha, knew about the bloodnotch synergy but didn't know about the server tick thing. thanks!
