Pretty sure that the item "as is" will be moved to Standard with it's crusible tree. However you will not be able to progress it, change it or anything else but it will still work.

Unlikely, either they retain the items with crucible tree deleted or crucible move to core. doubt they will retain the item with crucible tree and not being able to progress or change it.

Chris said that you can rip from HC to STD so clearly they are allowing it. I highly doubt that they will delete these items at league end.

This is nearly always the case while in-league. There have been been bugs where one could engage with a league mechanic, in standard, by ripping related items to standard during the league (eventually fixed by way of hotfixes well after economy impact).

And, GGG has most certainly done similar removals in the past. At this point it is status-quo from GGG by not communicating until the last week or two of the league. I've already stopped playing at this point and after leagues and leagues of the same bait and switch.. it's time to move on.
