Expedition- unkilable mobs

nearly every expedition encounter i keep getting unkillable mobs and its starting to really piss me off. i dont understand what im doing wrong. i never take "immune to xyz damage" i read them before i select and dont see anything that stands out. which nodes do i need to avoid?

If you are playing an ailment based build, you have to avoid remnants granting immunity to ailments as well and those arent highlighted at all.
So you´ll either have to read all the stuff while placing explosives or you just place them and then read the summary (small round button next to the UI element showing the remaining charges). But yeah, avoiding "immune to fire dmg" wont help you, if you are playing an ignite build and you grant the monsters "100% ignite avoidance". |

Does "chaos" mean poison? Thats an ailment too, thats why Im asking

Ah then its probably "Take no dmg from critical hits" remnants

You're probably taking Immune to Curses and not realizing it. It's another one that isn't highlighted to stand out, and it absolutely will break your Impending Doom build.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

"Immune to curses" is another modifier that bricks impending doom.
