Atlas tree spec

Hello there. New player here.
I'm playing an explosive arrow Elementalist (bad choise by the way) and I'm looking for help for my atlas tree. I usually played T1-4 maps for essence but i think I can go for something more involved. I have 126/132 points in atlas, in the last week and so I played blight but the FPS is a big problem. I tried T16 with essence but I die a lot, the essence mobs are very strong. I was spec into the Red altar/Blue altars but those can get very hard too. I tried expedition but don't like them, you need to place them and think about, idk ruins the speed for me, I had mirrors but I'm too slow and can't reach 5 rewards every time.
I tried runnig essence+beasts but over 50 maps and got 0 chimera, only 5 spiders that sells for 50 chaos.

There is a way to spec and run something T1-8 for essence+something and something else that don't scale much or go T16 with investment and run something there.

It just sounds you don't like most mechanics like at all, you can just try make a "Grand design" tree.
Adding Jun missions/scarabs since it's add quite a bit of mobs and is very profitable right now because of the trap gloves and the Vial of Dominance.

Picking up good base bows and shields is good money if you add crucible tree to them and dump them at 1div buyout tab and just check for totem,enlightened, divine orb node. But that would require you to play t16maps or buying a bunch of bases in advance if you want to go lower tier.
Heist is good as well since you can just run them white, especially the "unusual gems" ones.

You should definitely try to cap your chaos resist. since nowadays a lot of rare mobs or unique mobs have phys as extra chaos. And change grace to determination aura it would gives you 40% more ehp over grace that gives 20%.

Check this ziz guide,he plays chammpion but you can take a lot from it might see the gaps that you are missing for the character that you can improve on.

I don't dislike the mechanics, only the expedition one I find it strange, you need to be very careful with the modifiers. In mirror and legion you need to be fast, the red altars in T16, well i got owned, the essence and the beats in T16 can be just unlikeable.
I like blight but the game optimization if I don't kill the mobs is painful.
I like heist too, i think because of my build i like to stay in defence not in offence.
I will invest in capping the chaos, I have some money but i don't know what to do, to go all in or to reroll another class/build. I don't have any cluster jewels, these are a good investment or I need to be 98/99.
Unnatural talent is 4.5 div and I don't how much helps me. I think for 4.5 i can invest in something better.
I think I can get to 97 but dying is a huge step back.

I find a vial, sell it, made some upgrades. Now I'm looking to invest in a huge upgrade. This Crucible tree node help --50% increased Ignite Duration on Enemies-- I know the Crucible tree is strange and hard to calculate but I copy some items from the trade and put them on the Path of Building, I know that is not 100% accurate but this node is a huge upgrade in Total damage per ignite in calculation and that I know is very important for the build, I'm a DOT build after all.
I'm putting items in POB to learn the build and what helps me before buying something.
Do you have any idea if this node even helps me or if that helps that much?
