Sirus spawning zones under him instead of coming down

as title says (ive done this fight many times). Everytime i get near sirus, he is just spawning a zone under him and refuses to get off his chair so i can start the encounter. He is just spamming abilities and even those little circle things that are supposed to explode are just persisting instead

on another attempt he ported me right under him when i walked in, and then instantly spawned another zone
