Latency Spike issue:

The computer doesn't have a driver for WiFi.
It is connected via LAN, using the PowerLine Passthrough Adapter; "PowerLine AV2 2000 Gigabit Passthrough Adapter." The router is not in my room. |

So, are you saying the latency issue is due to the fact that I'm using the powerline system?
But this didn't happen until 3.21... The modem is in the living room along with a router. How could I connect my PC to the router directly? (I am not very knowledgeable in this area, unfortunately...) If this is not your area to advise (since it's not a PoE-related solution), that's okay. It'd be great if you could help me but otherwise, I will try to sort this out at PB Tech... |

" I would assume so since it shows latency spikes in your WinMTR report. Your WinMTR report shows spikes on the +300ms range so not the 7K you are reporting in PoE...... I don't know if the Powerline system can make more "problems" in regards to PoE client. In regards to connecting directly to the router/modem, then a 6e Ethernet cable can be up to 90 meter long. |

Why d0es wifi matter. Als0 Win mtr isnt accurte it will pass d0wnstream lat t0 y0ur r0uter. I use p0wershell and it sh0ws 0ms lat. winmtr makes it l00k like that high lat is fr0m r0uter t0 my c0mp.

G0 int0 win p0wershell and ping testy0ur r0uter. 0r find an0ther pr0gram that m0nitrs just the latency between y0ur pc and r0uter.
