Yes. And dead HC chars bunch up on the ladders with 0% XP. Maybe not as much as alive SC characters near 0% though...

The whole logout thing is one of the ugly things in PoE. If they want a logout meta then they should at least provide an ingame solution that works properly. And if they dont want logout meta it they should take steps against it - they could easily at least punish it so thats its less viable for boss fights aka logout => instance gone.
And from my POV they should make the game so that you come back to where you left but unfortunately current PoE is an unstable mess that couldnt handle that.

Howabout me playing softcore - I TP to hideout with -XP... I died in my townportal? Is that supposed to happen?

why play hardcore just to use get out of jail free card anytime you get scared?

i dont like hardcore i think its shit to be subject to the whims of the severs and bugs and lose my progress but for those that do choose to play it sack up and accept when you die
you chose hardcore no one forced you to

there should not be a log out macro or anything like that. Playing with a log out macro should be a bannable offense.

you play hardcore take the deaths that come with it.

Confused, did you logout by accident? Because otherwise it sounds like you knew you were in trouble and were going to die, logged and still died.

Imagine relying on logout and calling yourself HC >.>

Imagine using a logout macro and think you're hardcore. Every time i see someone dying after logout macro BS i have to smile ngl.
