Evasion and energy shield mastery

On evasion and energy shield mastery there's a node, which says - increase maximum ES if both your rings got evasion modifiers. While it works for 2x redeemer mods which increase evasion rating by %, it ain't work with general to evasion rating. If it's as intended, i'd like to know. But you can outrun it by switching 1 redeemer ring in left and right slots by turn, and still get the 20% increase, while wearing your other rings while those have the + to evasion rating tag.
