Some quirks I'm curious about

Was messing around with PoB some in looking at my old builds and noticed some... inconsistencies? Perhaps someone can make sense of these or perhaps they should be reworded:

1) The bow mastery that gives damage with bows per increased/reduced projectile speed doesn't seem to work for either Toxic Rain (which benefits from projectile damage increases) or Bleed. So unless there's something else I'm not thinking of, should this one be reworded to say "attack damage with bows"?

2) For some reason, the Physical mastery "10% more maximum Physical Attack Damage" DOES work with bleed (is this a PoB error?) Reminds me of Ryslatha's Coil working too.

When i allocate the mastery, without any other changes, on my TR Trickster then it does give some damage but only a tiny amount likely based on the hit damage so my guess is that the damage modifier does not apply to dot damage though i am currently uncertain if global increased damage that doesn't specify dot damage usually increases it?

Maybe you don't have any projectile speed increases or it's +- zero with the decreases? Or your hit damage is so low that the increase is just rounded down to zero?

The phys mastery would work on bleed for sure since it at least increases the damage from the initial hit and with that also the base bleed is calculated from.
No there definitely are projectile increases. Easiest way to tell is to slap on a Quill Rain. Your TR Trickster is likely only getting hit damage and not DoT.

Global increases DO work for dot as they work for everything.

The other weird thing about the more Max phys attack damage is that increased attack damage obviously doesn't work. Hence it's weird for More to work.

"Damage with bows" means "attack damage with bows". Its the same wording as with passives like "Avatar of the Hunt" - it would apply twice to TR DoTs if it wouldnt be limited to attack damage. (And I dont know why they word it in such a hard to understand manner.)
Far as I understand it should work for the arrows landing and the final explosions though.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
See the confusing thing is, "Damage with Bow Skills" (from say a quiver) DOES work. So now we have "Damage with Bows" = Attack Damage but "Damage with Bow Skills" = generic damage.

"Damage with Bow skills" refers to skills with "Bow" tag, same as common "X with fire skills" modifiers on jewels for example.

Although for skills with both "Melee" and "Bow" tag, equipped weapon check is likely made too.

Good point. I still think Damage with Bows should be reworded to Attack Damage with Bows to be clear but I'm guessing that will never happen.
