The Squire Crucible Passive Not Working

My shield The Squire Elegant Round Shield has a passive that says: "Socketed gems are supported by level 10 energy leech". However that doesn't link to my other supports from the squire that power up my manabond in main hand. I think it should be working for the squire.

No, "Socketed gems are supported by level 10 energy leech" only supports Socketed gems in a shield. Shield mod "Socketed Support Gems can also Support Skills from your Main Hand" also says only Socketed Gems are used

I see. That's kind of sad i was hoping it was a bug and the crucible tree support gem counts as socketed in the shield itself.
