Do Curse on hit work with spark
Im trying to craft curse with conductivity on hit on an elder influenced wand.
As I read, Spark is a spell that fires projectiles that expire when they HIT something. So, will the mod from the elder wand work with spark or dosnt curse on hit work with spells that hit ? Last bumped on Apr 19, 2023, 4:16:31 PM

Yes, it will work.
With the exception of piercing projectiles (be it attack or spell), all projectiles are destroyed when they hit an enemy, or get stuck on a wall/on the ground. So, in order to be destroyed, it is implied they have hit, therefore are eligible to apply on hit effect. Same goes for forking, splitting and chaining projectiles, which gets destroyed in order to create more projectiles |

So im left with 2 choices here
1. Use spark WITH pierce, which im currently using and is awsome since i dont have to cast "that" many times compaired to non pierce. 2. Use spark without any pierce effect and get the curse effect. OR Lets say my spark pierce 3 additional enemies. Will the curse be applied when the spark hits the last enemy before it runs out ? |

" Afraid I don't understand what is the problem here. Spark works with curse on hit just like any other skill that does hits. And each cast of spark can hit every given enemy once per 0.66 sec. Meaning every new projectile collision is a hit. Curse on hit application does not depend on whether or not projectile has pierce, fork, etc. With or without pierce, first hit on given enemy will curse it, then projectiles from same cast will ignore collisions with that enemy until 0.66 sec passes. This cooldown is separate for every enemy. Last edited by Echothesis#7320 on Apr 19, 2023, 4:09:21 PM

Also, do note that Spark has relatively rare feature of not hitting "flying" enemies at all (as it is a ground effect), which could have confused you about how hits work.
