How Do You Scour the Crucible Tree?

I know you're supposed to be able to scour a crucible tree node, but I can't figure out how to use the scouring orb on the tree. Anyone able to help with that? Thanks!

Never mind, I found the way. You have to do it at one of the crucible forges; not while in your inventory for anyone else that comes by this question.

It is nice that you can remove more than 1 at a time.
The only thing that irritates me about this mechanic is the fact that you can't go in 2 different directions. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
