Crucible tree node "Socketed gems supported by X" not affecting skills provided by items
So I'm running an Arakaali's fang-build that uses
Only problem is, that this node "Socketed gems are supported by lvl 10 minion speed" does not affect the minions created by Arakaali. Evidence: https://youtu.be/RVk95izOZ_E In the video I'm testing minion movement speed on Fang with crucible node "Socketed gems supported by level 10 minion speed" and compare it to a fang without crucible skill tree. In both cases the movement speed on minions is the same, and the minion icon on top-left corner and in character tab do not show the support gem icon from the item. Later I placed animate guardian skill gem in this weapon, and the support gem icon did show up. I REALLY hope that this is just an oversight from the developers... This is not a bug, the spiders are NOT socketed. The wording is very specific, "socketed gems..."
This is not something new that Crucible brang, this is in the game for a very logn time. |

I can read that it says "socketed", I wrote it, didn't I? The skill is "in" the item and anything socketed to the weapon supports the main skill in the item.
The main issue is that if the skill provided by the item cannot be supported by the skill tree, why does it have the node available in the first place? Secondly, this creates a great inbalance compared to other builds that run their main skill in a 6-link main weapon. Like I asked, is this just an oversight? |

" it has the node because skill gems socketed into it can be supported. the spiders are not socketed so it won't work, no oversight or bug. |

" Point me any single character that has socketed a skill gem to this item, at any point of PoE history |
