Allies and Enemy Colour Highlights

Through watching videos of people playing beta, I've realized enemies and allies/summons all highlight red. Is there an option to change allies to a different colour? In my opinion allies should be a different colour generally so there's no confusion in a huge mob filled fight.

I thought you meant minimap colours at first and was confused because this game doesn't even have a minimap.

After actually reading the post; I agree. Your own summoned units and allied party members should have different highlight colour than enemies. I think it'd be a pretty quick fix as well.

It doesn't really seem like an issue though, because there isn't any friendly fire, so it's not like you will kill your buddies minions. It might look cluttered in fight but if you think about it you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in reality anyway.

Ever played an ARPG where you keep trying to kill your party member's summons? God, it's freaking annoying. Confusing allies for enemies is never good, and it seems like a rather quick thing to change.

Indeed. Last thing you'd want is a clusterfuck battle between your "pets" and the enemy's "pets" and not being able to tell whom from whom until it's too late.

haha, I dont know how many times I tried to kill that useless hireling in D2, or NPC's/pets that follow you around in alot of ARPG's
There has been plenty of times where I summon the same type of monster that is my enemy and I waste time hitting my own pets. A simple colour change on a highlight aura would improve a simple flaw in the game. Why should we "just put up with everything being red" when the change is something as simple as that? And will in turn make the game better and function correctly for team based combat.
Don't like highlight at all

Then maybe an option to turn on/off highlights and what colours you want enemies and allies if you decide to have it on?

Almost two years and yet this hasn't been implemented.

Please add this feature, it's quite annoying to be playing in party just because of this!
