Rubber band and lag spikes
Hello everyone,
since this league has started, I have lag spikes from 7ms up to 300 for 1 or 2 sec and then it's back to 7. Also, I get ported back about 3 seconds once or twice per map.(rubber band) Most of the time I die because I get ported back into mobs. I already tried: Different EU-Servers (I'm sitting in Germany, near Frankfurt) Widows new installation Game new installation different DNS server Settings in my router Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?, because like that I will quit the game. Makes no sense and is no fun to play it like this. Thanks for your help. Last bumped on Apr 18, 2023, 9:47:56 PM

" Hay, thanks for answering. Here is the result from WinMTR. https://pastebin.com/3hkhKtm6 I was running 1 map and died 2 times of rubber band in it. Last edited by FyanJJ#1679 on Apr 17, 2023, 6:51:30 AM

" Well this is "fun". You are passing through a known "bad" node --> |softlayer-svc080973-ic370828.ip.twelve99-cust.net - 0 | 533 | 533 | 7 | 8 | 39 | 8 | However it's no longer showing the packet loss or latency spikes as it have done for the last several weeks.... Could you try using a VPN solution and see if that helps? Last edited by HanSoloDK#4843 on Apr 17, 2023, 9:39:27 AM

" Could this be due to the DNS settings in my router? Should I create a new report from WinMTR with default DNS or try directly with vpn? |

" DNS shouldn't do this but some claims that using cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) have helped them. So try both (DNS and VPN). |

Update:
I tried it now twice with a VPN - connected to France. That's the result with WinMTR: https://pastebin.com/1CqVeYGy https://pastebin.com/vixr6R7w I have the feeling that the rubber band is gone. But what can I do now if that is really the case. I don't want to have a VPN always up whilr running POE. |
