Last Rites not destroying monsters with curse on hit glove corruption and possibly ring explicit too
I have Last Rites allocated via anointment and use gloves with curse on hit implicit (from corruption).
The no ES recharge and half life regeneration seem to work fine (can't really tell for lifereg but rare mobs with regen tend to be more easily killable with it). But what doesn't seem to work is the part "cursed enemies you kill are destroyed", but only while using the glove curse on hit implicit, whether enemies get oneshot (curse gets applied in the same attack that kills the enemy) or two-shot (killing blow happens after enemy was cursed). If I manually cast a curse on enemies, they get destoyed afterwards (animation is like the disappearance after infinity gauntlet snap). I haven't tested it but it might also not work for rings with curse on hit explicit as the curse is applied the same way as from the glove implicit. Unarmed for life! (although I do like maces too recently) Last edited by Broliciously#3999 on Apr 16, 2023, 9:41:06 AM Last bumped on May 7, 2023, 12:16:03 PM

Can confirm, Also not sure if "kill" means with hits or do DoT-s count as well?

" After some recent patch, I have seen it working now but I'm not sure it works 100% how it should. If the enemy doesn't get oneshot, the curse gets applied and after you kill it, the body gets "Thanos snapped". However, if you oneshot it, the body doesn't count as cursed even though you hit the monster to kill it and should have applied the curse via curse on hit. Thus the body destruction doesn't happen. That is in contradiction to how the Pyre unique ring works for ignites. If you oneshot a mob and it also ignites the mob, the body gets destroyed in the same attack. That should have also been the case for the curse on hit implicit imo. But that's sadly not the case, dunno if it is like that specifically to not let occultist chain explode too easily with curse on hit... Also "enemies you kill" means any source of dmg you do to kill it whether it's hits or dots doesn't make a difference (I use Shaper of Flames so everything is ignited anyway and even then it turns the corpses to dust). Unarmed for life! (although I do like maces too recently)
