Blade Trap and Prismatic Burst Interaction

Hey folks,

So I was playing around with a few skill gems and came across Blade Trap and Prismatic Burst. After a quick test in-game, it looks like the active and support do not work together. I am just looking for an answer to this interaction.

Yes the obvious answer would be, because blade trap is a trap. Yes prismatic burst says, cannot support attacks or attacks used by things other than you. The key part of that sentence being "attacks used by things other than you".
If we have a look at blade trap tool tip, it states "Throws a trap which, once triggered, swings two copies of your equipped weapon". Which sounds like technically you are attacking since it is using your weapons but I guess you aren't since the ability is a trap? Also to note, in-game prismatic burst does support blade trap so leads me to believe it should work. Tested out with other trap skills and it does not support them.

I only ask this question because I tested the ability with spectral throw, spectral helix and spectral shield throw. All these tooltip abilities say "throws a spectral copy of your weapon/shield". Prismatic burst all works with these abilities, so technically should work with blade trap since it is also a copy? I even tested the ability with charged dash and as tool tip states "channel to project an illusion" not even an attack but I guess it's different since it has the attack tag in the gem.

Speaking of gem tags, looking at blade trap it has both trap and attack tag maybe these tags cancel out each other with the ability to work with prismatic burst support?
