Expedition Scarab - atlas tree passives?

Seemingly, using the expedition scarab ignores some of the allocated expedition atlas passives.

When specced into Tujen and Dannig spawn rate, Expedition scarabed maps seems to ignore these and use the default spawn rates. Can't provide sheets on this one, it's based on observations as it looks very obvious.

Used a total of 40 Gilded Expedition Scarabs. This could easily be my own confirmation bias but the difference feels very obvious.

Maybe it's the entire combo so this is what I ran 40 times:
4 Watchstone
T16 Tower, 20% quant + alchemy
Searing Exarch influence
Gilded Expedition Scarab
Polished Harbringer Scarab
Polished Divination Scarab
Polished Ambush Scarab
map device 8% quant
London Gateway

same but move Stream of Conciousness + small node below towards Singular Focus

I am observing the same problem

Logged in just to check on this. I suspect the same thing.

Same issue exactly, i thought i was extremely unlucky, but then I started doing maps without it and started seen Tujen/Dannig much more.
