How you manage your low quality gems & "worthless" currency?

I'm interested about how most people manage these kind of items, or wich one is the most efficient system.

Low Quality Gems

With low level I mean gems that have < 10% quality or so, and aren't too much precious (like FP can be). Most of us want to maximize their quality, so starting with a low one isn't a good option since GCP only raise 1%. Either way, selling them for even 1-2 chaos is impossible (at least for me). So, what you do with gems like these?

A) Stash them forever, waiting for the time GGG put a better gem sink, or better behaviour of GCP at low quality gems so their price would increase.
B) Vendor all 8 of them, so you can get, with a sum of 43%, a GCP with the recipe.
C) Try to sell those unsellable gems for 1 chaos each, so 8 chaos = 2 GCP.
D) Other option (explain).

Currently I'm between option A and C, trying to sell them "cheap" (without success) and stashing them waiting for changes, because I feel that the current system is broken. Having to use 10 gcp to reach 15% quality starting from 5% is retarded, you will be able to buy a 15% for 3-5 gcp (or even less).

"Worthless" currency

Quoted the word worthless because all currency items can be useful at certain times, but in terms of how valuable they are and how much they drop compared to Alch/Chaos/etc, they don't worth a lot. Having a lot of stacks (since I made a lot of chars that hit walls or are boring when reach level 50 or so), so I don't know wich one is the most efficient route to manage them since all have a price, even if its really low. I'm talking about these:

A) Stash them, even if you end with 50 scrolls stacks, 20 scraps stacks, etc.
B) Sell most of them at vendor for recipes, so you can have more valuable currency ready to trade or use it on your gamblings.
C) Trade with other players a couple of stacks, for example, saw someone on trade channel selling 120 scrolls of wisdom for 1 alch.
D) Other option (explain).

I'm stashing all (option A). But I'm in doubt if I should vendor all my 450 orbs of augmentation for 112 alterations, that can be traded for ~2 gcp or ~8 chaos

Stash them all for both

Gems: You never know which build would be the flavor of the month..
Its better to have them and not need them.. then to need them and not have it at your disposal..

Currency: NONE of the currency is 'worthless'.. for me personally
Trans / alt / aug are used for countless map rolls
I have a iiq/iir character that literally burns stacks and stacks of wisdom rolls when I do farming runs..

the only currency that close to being 'worthless' is my overflowing portal scrolls..
but i generally don't even bother picking up any new ones for about a week now.

the only 3 types of currency that I find overflowing is portal / armor / weapon scrap.. which i dont mind at all ..

I hardly ever trade it to the NPC for an upgrade (crappy rates)

For the gems I would definitly chose B, because actually that IS the gemsink and for me it does not feel bad, because If you think about it, every 1% of quality is worth over 1 Alternation.
I have 1 Stashtab filled with 1/3 of gems and I collect them but once in a while I sell 5-10% ones. If they fill up more I will also vendor 10-13% one and it also depends on the skill itself.

But realistically NOBODY will buy <13% gems, even though its Freezing pulse because high quality gems will saturate the market quickly.

Trying to sell them is definitly not worth the time, because yea, it costs time and time = money.

B, is the only viable solution for gems which have <10% in my opinion and I think thats fine

for Scrolls(TP and ID): there are 2 solutions:
Either sell them in huge quanitities to other players or collect more blue stuff. I dont like collecting blue stuff, but if you pick up small things like rings this could be a good idea to balance your scrolls

Transmutions and Augmentations:
You can zerg low level maps with them but if you have still too many you can upgrade them to alternations. I think thats the best idea

Whetstones and Scraps can actually pretty valueable if you use them to supplement crafting recipies.
For instance you can find 3 normal ilvl 69 Vaal regalies in maps and then increase their quality to 20% and then alch one and transmute 1.
If the rare one is not usefuil you can sell all 3 of them to the vendor for 1 Alch.

All in all you transmuted 3 normal items + 1 trans + 12 Quality items into 1 Alch.

With this method you can use up your scraps/whetsones pretty fast
There are other recipes too which can use those items.
Low Qual Gems (under 10) I save and vendor for the GCP, using that to top off high qual gems. It'll be a long haul trying to find people to buy them for much more than the cost of a 0 qual gem.

Currency I just stash, never know when it'll be useful for something ~ even if it's just giving scrolls to my friends who constantly neglect to pick them up then run out.

We tested it extensively
I use the GCP recipe for gems below 10% and I keep my currency items or try to trade with players. Or I use them. I'm getting into map rolling again. If you find me ingame I will trade my alterations for pretty much all your supposed "worthless" currency.

Ichilos, whats the GCP recipe you are talking about? PM me if possible.

Second, the ONLY and I mean ONLY worthless gems are the baubles for upgrading flasks. You can't do anything with them. TP scrolls you can buy transmutes with and sell em for more ID scrolls. You can use whetstones etc to make quality sets for selling as well.
Standard: Khaer_Thrall lvl 89 Duelist/Split Arrow
Standard: Lecarra_Desriale lvl 87 RF-PC Sporker 87IIQ 338IIR 6.5k ES 3k dps

40% combined quality gems = 1 GCP.

How are bauables useless? Use them on white granite, quicksilvers and hallow flasks.
What I'd do:

Gems: Vendor the heck of 'em.
Currency: Use the wisdoms, vendor the portals for more wisdoms, upgrade the transmus and augs into alts.
Quality items use them in vendor recipes, like the one described above or the same base item unid in yellow, blue and white with 20%q = 2 alchs.
Keep two of highest quality of each gem

keep a set of gear for newbie craftables/currency runs.

Keep assorted rare belts and jewelry and a second set of higher level gear,I n case of premature death.

Keep Wisdom and portal scrolls for later use

Vendor everything else except any form of currency.
I trade up my currency for higher currencies. And I vend all my shitty qual gems for gcps to the vendor.
